  Raden Hadji Oemar Said Tjokroaminoto was born in Ponorogo, East Java, August 16, 1882 - died in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, December 17, 1934 at the age of 52 years, better known as HOS Cokroaminoto, was one of the leaders of the first organization in Indonesia, namely Sarekat Islam (SI) Tjokroaminoto is the second of 12 children from a father named R.M.
